Kelley and Company 11/8 – The Election

On November 8th, Jimmy Sengenberger filled in for Steve Kelley on Kelley and Company on News/Talk 710 KNUS, joined once more by Bill Rogan and Murphy Wells.

First, Jimmy discusses the outcome of the 2012 elections, as well as his experience of broadcasting live on Election Night alongside Steve from Sports Authority Field at Mile High.

Then, Colorado GOP State Chairman Ryan Call calls in to offer his insights on the President’s reelection. He weighs in on the reason for the outcome of the vote, why the GOP has a state disadvantage in all three branches of government, and his opinion on what the conservative party needs to do to win back Colorado.

Next, Cato Institute senior fellow Dan Mitchell discusses John Boehner’s remark about raising revenue to avoid the fiscal cliff, how taxes should be handled, and the frightening size of the government and national debt.

Also during the show, a number of callers share their thoughts on the outcome of the election as well as what they think lies ahead and what the Republican Party needs to do to regain momentum.
