By Jimmy Sengenberger at December 4, 2012 | 11:47 pm | Print
On August 16th, Jimmy Sengenberger sat in for Steve Kelley on Kelley and Company on News/Talk 710 KNUS, joined by Bill Rogan and Murphy Wells.
First up, Mark Montini is on the phone to weigh in on the ‘conservative party milestone’ that is selecting Paul Ryan for Vice President. He also discusses the conflicting views and misconceptions on the Medicare debate and what he believes the Romney campaign should do with Mr. Ryan.
Next, Cato Institute senior fellow Michael D. Tanner chats about Paul Ryan’s semi-moderate budget plan and Obama’s handling of welfare reform. Then Medicare and the many issues surrounding it comes up. We discuss the comments being made by the candidates on the topic and what each will do with the program.
Then, we talk to a public caller who asks Murphy about her view and opinion on whether or not Romney will ‘move women backwards’ and Planned Parenthood funding comes up. Should Planned Parenthood be federally or privately funded?
Also during the show, we discuss a controversial remark made by Vice President Joe Biden, thoughts on the Facebook Camera option, and a cease and desist letter sent to the Romney campaign.
