Kelley and Company 8/21 – The Media Bias

On August 21st, Jimmy Sengenberger sat in for Steve Kelley on Kelley and Company on News/Talk 710 KNUS, joined by Bill Rogan and Murphy Wells.

First, several callers share their thoughts on the controversial and widely-panned remarks made by Missouri Congressman Todd Akin regarding abortion and his beliefs on the subject. The chat also turns to the media’s handling of the situation and whether or not it has been fair. Should Akin remain in the race, or should he step down?

Also, Jimmy discusses why the liberal press jumps on any chance to paint conservatives as one large, close-minded, medieval, and extreme group of politicians. We get several public opinions on the media bias and why the press is content to blow conservative comments out of proportion while ignoring similarly bad remarks made by liberals.

Finally, the hosts address the President, his handling of the media, and why he chooses to do interviews that do not ask the hard and often important questions.
